As a Black led collective, our knowledge and experiences as mothers and caregivers is often undervalued, as historically, Black women and femme caregivers have envisioned our highest ideals of liberation. During this fellowship we invite participants to lean into our identities and share our knowledge.

The program develops 15-25 community mothers* and caregivers of color from across Santa Barbara County and equips them with strategies and relationships to positively impact their communities (and their children).

This years Parenting Fellowship Retreat will be held at the Santa Barbara Inn, located at 901 E Cabrillo Blvd, Santa Barbara, CA 93103 from Wednesday March 27, 2024 to Friday March 29, 2024. The retreat is overnight, and is available to parenting people at no-cost. Children are welcomed to attend along with their caregivers.
